Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how bwgregory (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the @aibviously account and the vid-producer tooling used to create and publish content to social platforms such as TikTok and Meta (including Facebook and Instagram).
Who we are

What this service does
@aibviously / vid-producer helps create and post short-form video and related content to connected social accounts. Platform connections (TikTok, Meta) use OAuth so we can publish on your behalf after you authorize access.
Information we collect
- Account and contact information you provide when corresponding with us (for example, your email address).
- OAuth tokens and account identifiers issued by TikTok or Meta after you authorize the app, used only to perform the posting features you requested.
- Content you submit for posting, such as video files, captions, hashtags, and scheduling preferences.
- Technical logs related to posting attempts (success/failure status, timestamps), not including OAuth authorization codes displayed on this static site.
This GitHub Pages site itself does not collect personal data, does not set analytics cookies, and does not store OAuth codes or tokens.
How we use information
- To authenticate with TikTok and Meta and publish content you request.
- To operate, troubleshoot, and improve vid-producer posting workflows.
- To respond to support requests sent to our contact email.
- To comply with applicable law and platform developer policies.
How we share information
We share content and necessary account metadata with the social platforms you connect (TikTok, Meta) solely to fulfill posting and related API calls. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or platform integrity.
Data retention
OAuth tokens and posting-related data are retained only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by platform policies and law. You may revoke app access at any time in your TikTok or Meta account settings; after revocation we will stop using those credentials for new posts.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect tokens and content in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Do not share authorization codes or access tokens with third parties.
Third-party platforms
Your use of TikTok and Meta is also governed by those platforms’ own privacy policies and terms. We are not responsible for how those platforms process data after you authorize access or after content is published.
Children’s privacy
This service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by applicable law or platform policies). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
- Revoke TikTok or Meta app permissions in your platform account settings.
- Request deletion of locally held posting data by emailing us.
- Stop using the service at any time.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the revised policy.
